what motivates you?

So what motivates you? We hear a lot of things from our clients...
-Doing the best work possible
-Telling a clear, evocative vivid story
-Selling a real, quality product or service
-Making a positive impact in world
-Making a little money
In our experience, the 'making money' goal is never the first goal. Sure, it's important to pay the bills, but it's not why you do what you do. Our clients are the people who believe that 'excellence' (despite the word being a motivational cliché) matters most - and the money and accolades follow.
Our clients are people who have achieved feats such as being on the top list of places to work in the US (Baird), being one the largest and oldest non-profits (Community Service Society of New York), being the best coffee roaster in the US (Metropolis Coffee in Chicago) . We work for some of the most interesting people we've ever met, and these people expect the same focus on quality and service as they employ themselves.
Mind you, we're not oblivious to the bottom line - that is one of the main objectives in every web or video project we do. Often, we offer extra ideas on revenue generation or value added services. We've heard over and over again how our ideas have helped shape an organization's revenue generation or donations.
We are about quality. We're about superior products. We're about 'excellence.' The best we can do is to know (and love) our craft and what makes for the happiest client. After a decade in this business, we've seen the bottom line follow every time.
