Content and information stored in a database can easily be displayed in different formats, in different places. It is flexible, modular, and most importantly easy to manage. We build a custom database management page for each data source on a website, including users, products, testimonials, etc. Each of the data management pages is fully custom. We can create file or image uploading, dates and manual ordering, and lots of other ways to manage and edit data. We can also assign relational database items, hierarchical relationships and non-database-enforced relationships or error checking.
In a technical sense, one of the differences between ByteCMS and other content management systems is that we keep a website's content as simple and architectural as possible. That makes a site easier to manage, easier for another programmer or IT company to understand, and easier for a search engine or another API partner to understand the content on a website. We'll create the easiest interface possible to a database, but still keep it a database so it's truly easy for a website or partner to interface.
As part of our commitment to clients, we believe that a client's data should be accessible by them and not locked up in a content management system that's turned it into something unusable.
