Community Bark is a local favorite in Milwaukee,
serving dogs and their humans alike since 2009.
Overview
In their two locations in Bay View & Bayside, Community Bark (CB) hosts a comfortable and fun environment where their doggy-clients’ needs come first, and where their owners can hang out and relax. They also serve those in need, by offering discounts to rescue pups, free washes for police dogs and hosting fundraisers for local charities.
Strategy
CB was looking for a site that captured the fun of being in one of his locations, while still being easy to navigate and manage. The site needed to show how the staff love and care for the furry clientele, detail the offerings and specials, and be able to communicate any special issues or changes that were coming up.
CB's brand was fun and charming, so we needed to help make that brand work online and extend it with even more fun and charm. We used animations for the main items, and extended the brand with just the right amount of bubbles.
CB also needed a few custom tools, including clear open/close messaging and a mobile-friendly reservation request system for online bookings. Any of these tools needed to be backed by a content management system that's easy and powerful.
